I saw an idea of making heart shaped crayons out of old crayons. With plenty of time on my hands, I set out to make some for the kids attending our wedding this fall. (crazy... I know). Starting with a small mountain of old crayons I melted them with this item in the oven, let them cool on the counter and they popped right out. I've made over 200 little heart crayons so far, not because I need that many but they were so easy to make. The silicone mold is showing no signs of wear, a little discolored though I haven't tried cleaning it yet. Far better than the cheap mold I tried before.
